「對於時間性凡人而言，存在著未來，但神居住於永恆之中。……只有心智之無限，才能全面理解存在之無限和行動之永恆。」

3:4.5 (50.3) 對於時間性凡人而言，存在著未來，但神居住於永恆之中。儘管我來自靠近那神靈居住之處，也無法妄言自己對許多神性屬性之無限有著完美的理解。只有心智之無限，才能全面理解存在之無限和行動之永恆。
