「尋求事實的科學家將神設想為第一起因，力之神。感性的藝術家視神為美的典範，美學之神。理性的哲學家有時傾向假定一個萬有統一之神，甚至是一個泛神論的神靈。具信仰的宗教家相信一個促進續存的神，在天之父，慈愛之神。」
“The fact-seeking scientist conceives of God as the First Cause, a God of force. The emotional artist sees God as the ideal of beauty, a God of aesthetics. The reasoning philosopher is sometimes inclined to posit a God of universal unity, even a pantheistic Deity. The religionist of faith believes in a God who fosters survival, the Father in heaven, the God of love.”---5:5.3 (68.6)
