「在科學中，神是第一起因；在宗教中，神是遍在、慈愛的上父；在哲學中，他是一個獨立存在的存有，不依賴任何其他存有而存在，但慈善地將存在之實相賦予萬物和所有其他存有。」
“In science, God is the First Cause; in religion, the universal and loving Father; in philosophy, the one being who exists by himself, not dependent on any other being for existence but beneficently conferring reality of existence on all things and upon all other beings.”

4:4.7 (59.3) 在科學中，神是第一起因；在宗教中，神是遍在、慈愛的上父；在哲學中，他是一個獨立存在的存有，不依賴任何其他存有而存在，但慈善地將存在之實相賦予萬物和所有其他存有。但這需要啟示來顯露科學的第一起因及哲學的自我存在的統一性（Unity）即是宗教中的神，他充滿恩慈和良善，並承諾實現地球上子女的永恆續存。
