「雖然耶穌教導說，信仰，這種純然孩子般的信念，是通往王國之門的鑰匙；但他也教導說，進入門後，每個信奉的孩子必須逐步登上正義之梯，才能成長為完全成熟、健全的神之子。」
“Though Jesus taught that faith, simple childlike belief, is the key to the door of the kingdom, he also taught that, having entered the door, there are the progressive steps of righteousness which every believing child must ascend in order to grow up to the full stature of the robust sons of God.”---170:3.2
