118:9-1 時間和空間是主宇宙的一種聯合機制。它們是有限受造物得以在宇宙中與無限者共存的裝置。有限受造物被時空有效地從絕對層次中隔離開來。但這些絕緣介質，沒有它們凡人便無法存在，或直接運作以限制有限行動的範圍。沒有它們，沒有受造物能行動；但有他們，則每個受造物的行動都明顯地受限。
