91:6-7 祈禱對祈禱者個人靈性體驗的效力，絕不是取決於該敬拜者的智性理解、哲學智慧、社會層次、文化地位，或者其它凡俗的成就。伴隨虔誠祈禱的心靈及其屬靈的是即刻的、個人性的和經驗性的。每個人無論所有其他凡世成就如何，沒有其它方式可以如此有效而即時地接近那使他與其創造者交流的門檻，在其中受造物與造物者之實相，與內駐的思想調整者接觸。
