“在表面下以及所有外在的顯現，仍存在著永恆之神不變的意圖與永恆的計劃。”

2:2-3 不變之神在執行他永恆意圖的反應，似乎隨他的智慧受造物的觀念與思想的轉變而有所不同；也就是說，它們可能在表面上有變化；但在表面下與所有外在的顯現，仍存在著永恆之神不變的意圖，永恆的計畫。
